It’s really great to see HP is always ahead in releasing custom HP ESXi installation media. I know this as I always follow HP as soon as VMware releases a new ESXi version.
What is HP custom
ESXi installation media?
It’s basically tested combination/ bundle of VMware ESXi and
HP drivers for all HP servers. Custom HP ESXi image also includes HP management
software. It’s recommended to use HP custom ESXi image to install ESXi on HP
servers.

To download latest VMware vSphere (ESXi) i.e ESXi 5.5 U2
image, refer this VMware link (HP Custom Image for ESXi 5.5.0 U2 GA Install CD).
This latest version of ESXi released during November 2014.
